Welcome to our web site.
We aim to promote and spread awareness of the science and practice of water and environmental management.
To assist the latter aim, our new page 'Cross Currents' (see below) will contain articles of relevance and interest.
Our members are drawn from a wide range of environmentally involved organisations, (see links to some of the organisations from which we draw), so we are able to play an active part in informing Government, the City and the public about the many and important ways that water affects our lives.
The latest edition of our News page reports the results of our Election Court, held on April 17th at Cutlers' Hall and refers to an inaugural service to adopt our Patron Saint.
We enjoy a Chaplain who is not afraid to speak his mind, and have launched an occasional series featuring his views.

We strongly believe in the importance of education to further our aims and support schools through our 'Pupils' Prizes scheme, and universities via our Bursaries and Dissertation support grants: see our latest Bursary award to Brunel .
In addition we encourage the development of fellowship amongst our members through an active programme of events.
